A.
caused by physical factors

A1 Any occupation involving exposure to electromagnetic radiation (other than radiant heat) or ionizing particles due to electromagnetic radiation (other than radiant heat) or ionizing particles causing inflammation of the skin or subcutaneous tissue or bone, ulcers or malignant disease, or dyskinesia, or cataract. 10 years.

A2 Thermal cataract Any occupation involving frequent or prolonged exposure to light from molten or hot substances. 3 years.

A3 Baropathies, including decompression sickness, barotrauma and osteonecrosis Any occupation involving working in compressed or thinned air or other gases or gas mixtures.

1 year; 5 years if you have arthritis.

A4 Spasticity of the hand or forearm due to repetitive movements (Editor's Revision - ED No. 1 of 2018) Any occupation involving prolonged handwriting, typing or repetitive movements of fingers, hands or arms. 1 year.
