1.0 What are the procedures for judging injuries?  
1.1 In the event of an accident at work
1.2 may cause the injured employee to be permanently and completely incapacitated ; or
1.3 may cause the injured employee to be partially incapacitated,
1.4 and the injured employee is fit to be judged,
1.5 The Occupational Medicine Section of the Labour Department will arrange for the injured employee to be judged.
1.6 Judgments are made by the Employees' Compensation (General Assessment) Board (the "Assessment Board").
1.7 The assessment committee is under the provisions of the Employees' Compensation Ordinance,  
1.8 The Commissioner for Labour shall appoint two registered medical practitioners, registered Chinese medicine practitioners or registered dentists and a Labour Officer.
1.9 The evaluation committee will refer to the medical records and reports of the injured employee in detail, and based on the actual condition of the injured employee and the recovery of the injury,
1.10 In accordance with the provisions of the Employees' Compensation Ordinance to assess the extent of the employee's permanent loss of earning ability due to work-related injury, the absence and sick leave shall be issued to the employer and employee   _cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_.
1.11 The Occupational Medicine Unit will issue a "Notice of Judgment" to the injured employee. The injured employee should notify the employer of the date and time of the judgment, and bring the "Notice of Judgment", ID card and all A copy of the work-related sick leave certificate, and go to the designated hospital on time to accept the injury.

3.1 Compensation means any of the following—
(a) compensation payable under section 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10, including funeral and medical expenses payable under section 6(5);   (by Amended 52 of 2000 s. 3)
(b) medical expenses payable under section 10A;
(c) wages or salaries payable under section 16I(3) or 36MA;   (Amended 36 of 1996 s. 3)
(d) the costs to be paid under section 36B for the supply and fitting of a prosthesis or surgical appliance and the costs likely to be paid under section 36I for the repair and replacement of a prosthetic organ or surgical appliance;
